Even after the excitement was over, Kitsu didn't holster his weapon. He unsheathed his sword. He walked up to the unconscious person and looked down at him. The other two were busy kicking at him and questioning the redhead. He wouldn't reply instead, he would hold the end of his sword up to the unconscious gang member's neck. "Such an insulting bastard. Maybe I should teach you who I am." He would push his sword forward slicing into the gang member's neck at a disgustingly slow pace.

After this cruel execution, he would wipe his blade off with the now dead member's clothing before sheathing it again. He shot looks to the other two who were busy asking him questions. "Academy or not, these are dead men. So is the fate of those who cross my path with weapon in hand, or ill word on lips." This explanation was a bit more properly spoken than his normal linguistic stylings of curse every third word, but it would get his point across that he was not to be trifled with. His feeling of being watched subsided slightly, and he felt as though he knew now he was being tested by someone...but who...?

Kitsu

The two gang members instantly stopped asking him questions and looked at their friend that Kitsu had just killed. Both of them quickly having tears in their eyes. They had figured Kitsu to be some type of epic gangster sent to help them take down the skulls. Instead it was clear he was just like all of the other nobles and heavy handed gang members in Edo. The two quickly tried to take off. They wanted nothing to do with Kitsu ever again.

As the two ran off screaming some clapping could be heard behind Kitsu. Some guys in black and orange outfits whistled and looked at the corpses. One of them, a serious boy carrying tonfa instantly slammed his weapons into the two orange hooded boys running away and beat them both down.

'"Shit kid, you are viscous!" one of the men said, his hair brown and spiked. In the distance screams and more fighting could be heard, as well as sirens. Tonight Eastern Edo had become hell. The purple haired boy looked at kitsu.
"We've been looking for someone to follow." he said bluntly.
"Someone strong." a slim, flamboyant man with black hair explained. The white haired gangster with glasses looked examined Kitsu.
"Eastern Edo gang life is tough right now. People should stick together." he explained and shrugged a bit. They didn't seem phased at all by the three corpses around Kitsu. In fact Kitsu would recognize the brown, spikey haired boy as someone who had laughed when he saw kitsu murder the thugs earlier.
"We've been looking for the guy who set off the infamous Eastern Edo Powder keg so why not? You can't take on some of these gangs yourself you know? he said cracking his knuckles and popping his neck a bit.

***********************

Meanwhile a red haired man sat on top of a building in Eastern Edo looking around. His eyes seemed hawk like as he carefully examined all of the moving gangs. Kitsu would have felt the familiar feeling of eyes on him but only briefly as Keiichi looked around Eastern Edo a bit bored. In some areas the gunshots being heard came as Metsuke shot down gang members who had pulled guns on them. In other others with less violence the Metsuke simply broke the gang member's weapons and arrested them.

***********************

As Kitsu was faced with the option to accept these boys as gang members or not multiple sirens could be heard in the distance as well as yelling older men and marching. It was clear the Metsuke squads had gotten a lot closer. Kitsu would need to make his choice quickly and flee as one of the gang members looked around at the sound of the sirens.
"Shit, its the Metsuke." the white haired tough looking boy said.

Kitsu would almost ignore them, but he heard, what was essentially, the police running about and taking care of the small gang uprising in the area. He would look at the small group. "I suppose there may be strength in numbers." He would motion for the group to follow him, but he kept his gun out with its last shot remaining, as well as his sword unsheathed. He didn't trust these people and had a right to be wary. It was basically a war in the area right now as all of the gangs in the area trying to get higher in the pecking order.

Kitsu would lead the small group out of the alleyway until he cautiously came to the end where it let out into a nearby street. He would slide close to the wall and carefully look around the corner carefully, hoping that no one was there to screw up his exit of the alley. The main goal was to be the last group standing at this point, and if he had to kill the few men following him currently, so be it, but for now they seemed to be interested in surviving as well. Especially after his demonstration of power earlier.

Hattori Keiichi had seen enough. As he watched Kitsu he turned to leave. His job was simple, make sure that someone from the Bugei was starting to gain power. Putting pressure on Kitsu later would be easy enough. As Kitsu felt the eyes on the back of his neck go away it meant that he was all by himself now.

Down on the streets, however, a very different story was playing out. The metsuke, all dressed in white and blue jackets, moved swiftly through the main roads. Many gang members fled into small buildings and back streets but the ones stupid enough to stay on the main road, or even worse try and fight the metsuke, would very quickly regret it. A full gun shots rang out as gang members screamed and threw obscenities at the police officers. Unfortunately for them the metsuke had come prepared after hearing about some of the gang members possibly having guns. The metsuke drew swords and rope and quickly began beating down and arresting what gang members they could. Sadly a few gang members who decided to resist and shoot at the metsuke would be cut down on the spot.

"ALL GANG MEMBERS ARE TO SURRENDER AT ONCE! BY ORDER OF THE EDO BAKUFU!" a metsuke commander yelled. It was an official order from the Shogun to surrender at once.
"Shit, the metsuke. We need to beat it." one of Kitsu's guys said nervously. As they hugged the wall three metsuke with swords out ran directly by them. Shortly after as the metsuke's footprints went into the distance a few gun shots could be heard followed by people screaming and the sound of steel tearing through bone.
"SIR! THREE GANG MEMBERS PUT DOWN!" a voice yelled out.
"Yo, boss. Our hideout isn't far from here if you want. It is in the back of an arcade." the brown haired gang member whispered. Just then more gun shots rang out through the night. It was clear now that Kitsu wasn't the only one to bring a gun to a knife fight, and more screaming could be heard as the Metsuke all ran further into Eastern Edo.

Kitsu would ponder for a moment. He was arrogant and egocentric, thinking that his own gun skills were superior to all others, and they very well could be. However, now was probably not the best time to try to take on a handful of well-armed Metsuke at once. The thought also occurred to him that this situation could end up with him dead in the back room of an arcade. The choice was clear, though, a handful of armed professionals, or a handful of punk kids who weren't even that well armed...

The red-haired gunman would turn his head to his possible ally and nod his head, indicating that he was willing to go to the hideout. Who knows, it could end up being his first gang hideaway. If he managed to control the person who owned it, he could extort it for 'protection money' like the pros do. For now, it was the relative safety that he was after. This side of town had gotten too hot for the moment and it was time to lay low for a moment before continuing.

Yells and gunshots echoed through the city. The metsuke swept through the the streets like a white and black dressed flood. With katana and rifles in hand they captured the rioting gangs with ease. One gang the metsuke wouldn't encounter, however, was the group assisting Kitsu. The seven boys Kitsu had met quickly swept him away from the area and into a dark back street near a pachinko parlor. As the seven looked around, with Kitsu in the middle of them, the one wearing glasses pulled out a small silver key and unlocked the door to a small house. Inside, the house with decorated with various posters of violent video games and Yakuza films. It had two floors. The first floor had a living room with some old couches and a televisions, the upstairs had two bedrooms. This was the gang's hideout.

The seven boys took off their coats as the youngest went to the fridge and pulled out eight bottles of melon soda. Coming over he passed them out to everyone including Kitsu. The boy carrying the tonfa flopped down on one of the couches and looked over at Kitsu.
"We need a gang leader and rep. We are a small time gang and we want to get bigger. You look pretty strong. Why don't we group up?" he asked bluntly. The boy with the bandage on his nose looked out the window as two groups of metsuke carrying rifles ran by outside.
"Better than being outside right?" he asked with a smirk.
"We just want to start taking over the city." the boy with the spiky orange hair said. It was clear the boys wanted two things in this world, power and ambition. They already had plenty of ambition, but needed power, and in their mind Kitsu was the best way to get that. Now they just needed Kitsu to agree.

Kitsu would sigh when he saw the small stature of the group. Small numbers, small hideaway, yet big aspirations. Control a city, easier said than done. The right alliances are needed, and the right connections. He pondered for a moment. Hideyoshi, his new boyfriend, was directly involved with the Tokugawa Shogunate. This was a good pathway to keeping his group safe.

This was the first step to regaining his clan's status as a powerful group. He needed to plan out his next move a little more carefully, however. He would be sure to write a few notes in his journal. He would find a secluded area to write in later. For now, he turned to address the small group. "If you follow me down this road, there will be one of two things lying at the end. Either my lifeless body... or a grand future in a large gang that will rival the Yakuza themselves."

Kitsu
"If you follow me down this road, there will be one of two things lying at the end. Either my lifeless body... or a grand future in a large gang that will rival the Yakuza themselves." the words echoed through the small house and to everyone in the room the energy would feel electric. Everyone smirked and grabbed some food and drink. A rather flamboyant boy with black hair who hadn't talked much until now smiled darkly.
"That was the plan either way." the boy said as some of the others laughed a bit. The glasses wearing boy from earlier pulled out two Dutch pistols from under the chair and looked at the others as the went along the house tapping some parts of the wall and furniture that ended up sounding far more hollow than they rightfully should have.

"I think we are more than ready." said the purple haired boy laughing a bit. None of them seemed concerned with the thought of fighting other gangs, the metsuke, or even dying. However something did seem wrong. The brown haired boy with spiky hair kept looking as though something was really annoying him.
"A NAME!" he shouted standing up and pumping his fist into the air.
"Our gang needs a proper name!" he said as the others shouted in agreement and looked at Kitsu excited.

The gang hung out in a dark hide out as the metsuke ran around outside. They had all gathered to hide from the police. The tall man in the white mask approached the leader as she looked at him with a slightly raised eyebrow.
"Did you find that boy with the pistol?" she asked impatiently. The man just shook his head a bit.
"He went into hiding, but we did find a bit of dirt on him. We feel he is likely an Edo Bugei student." and with that the woman let out a loud laugh.
"A Shogunate dog wants to play Yakuza huh? This should be interesting."

Kitsu would simply remark, "Until further notice, our group will be known as the Iga Revival, and will boast the crest of my clan." He didn't particularly care if the others in the room enjoyed the name or the bias shown with the name. He would, however, take the short time that he probably had to jot some things down in his journal. It was a reddish leather journal that was obviously warn with age. It had the smell of an old book that the Iga gunman enjoyed, and the pages were slightly yellowed and dried out, making that crisp page flipping noise of old parchment.

He would close his journal after a moment before asking specifics. "Who owns this arcade?" He would despair slightly if one of the members had owned it, but if some random person owned it, there was a chance to gain their first money-making opportunity. Simple extortion was the way to the top most likely.

(OOC: This will be the last round of posting.)

As Kitsu declared the name of the group the boys nodded in agreement. The thought of using a strong name like the Iga would give them credit right off the bat. The boys also seemed overly eager to get any orders from Kitsu in general. They all did various things around the house from cleaning the guns to putting up the dishes at Kitsu wrote in his journal. As the now gang leader looked up a few of the boys stopped for a minute.

"Who owns this arcade?"
The boys looked at each other a bit confused for a minute and then looked around at the games, then towards the arcade looking building next door. They then looked back each other as the one with glasses spoke up.
"No one. It isn't really an arcade. We just gathered a lot of gaming machines around here that we like." then the other boys nodded as though to confirm the story. Being a small time gang the group had stolen a few things, but most of them had been things like movies and gaming machines which now sat in the building. As the boys explained Kitsu's phone would go off. It was a reminder sent to all Edo Bugei students. Curfew was about to enter the penalty phase. Anyone returning to the apartment building the school was currently renting any later than the stated time would be severely punished.

Kitsu would check his phone before making an audible 'tch' noise. He weighed out if he could still make it back to the academy in time. He supposed he could call a person from the school to escort him, but if that would really make a difference....and then he would have to explain why he smelled like gunpowder and was running around in a lock-down situation. Which wouldn't be hard to lie about honestly...

Then there was the option of staying here and waiting through the night with people he didn't know. It would end up being a restless night with one hand on his gun and one eye open. Though he needed to learn to trust these people. He finally pressed the button to turn the screen of his phone off and look up. "Looks like I can't return to the academy. We're having a sleepover now." Kitsu would flash a stupid looking grin, a probably welcome change to his previously serious demeanor.

""Looks like I can't return to the academy. We're having a sleepover now." and that was that. With Kitsu having his new gang, and a place to act as a base, the story of how a young man gained a small gang was complete. What happened to the Hattori stalking him you ask? he returned to Edo Castle to give the Shogun a full report on Kitsu's movements and his new friends. What happened to the large gang that caught wind of Kitsu's gun fighting? Well, that is a story for another time I'm afraid.!" the performer said with a warm smile as she gave a polite bow to the audience. The entire audience burst into applause for her.

It was a dramatic tale of being chased by the police, and of a violent young man attempting to find his way in the world. A place in which he could truly belong. The best part was that the story clearly set things up for a sequel later on. Right now, the performer took in the applause as she stood up and gave one more bow. As the lights of the stage began to dim and the lights for the audience started to come back to life tonight's dramatic performance had officially come to an end.

~End~
