A lone girl sat on a bench in the middle of an uncrowded park, there was no particular reason why she was there besides the fresh air and warm sun. It was one of the rather nicer days which was hard to come by in the winter. While most rather stay in doors this girl preferred to be outside as much as she could after all it was her belief that the most interesting things can only happen out in the world. Take today for example now while it may be slightly warm out it still was a cold winter day so only the brave would dare come to a place like this.
For the girl though it didn’t matter if anything interesting did happen for it didn’t come to here she would simple go to it, but for now she would simple sit on the beach looking like a total weirdo

An older looking gentleman sat at an old looking desk in a dark office, papers and other scattered all about but his gaze was transfixed on the monitor before him. He hated doing these reports after all could they not be left to the rookies to do. Honestly it wasn’t the work for an old vet like him but regardless it was his duty… his job… to log the events that had transpired recently.
Active Log of Senior Supervising Officer Ryohei Higashikata
The while events of transcribed here are classified I have taken it upon myself to leave a record in case the project code name JAEGER fails and the actions we have take place us the nation as a whole at risk. Regardless of the outcome some recollection of the truth must be kept even if this is not the truth the world will come to know. As followed are the transcripts of the sections interviews conducted here at Edo prison conducted between Raiden and the Deadmen.

Toki has had a rather simple and straight forward life, he was the son well renowned blacksmith who came from a long line of blacksmiths praised for their craft. Yet for Toki no of that really mattered for while the desire to create ran in his blood he had no desire to create the weapons of old but rather to create new and exciting things that could be found in this century. For unlike his family who took pride in creating deadly pieces of art Toki grew up believing that creating something new that changed lives was a much greater feat then simply breaking swords and armour. Which put him at odds with his father, yet while thing were always thought between father and son. Toki had strong ties to his family, a mother that always encouraged him a sister that was his inspiration and even his father that was his drive.
However regardless of how well he got along with his family and his home life he was still the son of an important smith to Matsuda Clan as such it was expected from him to continue to serve as his family had always done. As such Toki was sent of to learn at the most prestigious institution in Japan, Edo Bugei. Here he as to learn to be a world class smith but Toki had other plans, he would learn he could about the world so he could surpass tradition and create something that would forever change the world.

It was raining as the ship pulled into the harbour, maybe it was a sign of things yet to come. As the crew scrambled Jun simple waited for the ship to dock for the rain didn’t bother him all that much. He had to much on his mind to worry about the weather, as he mauled over what exactly he needed to do first. He could inform his family that he had arrived but then again he was sure they already knew of his return. There wasn’t anyone of importance that he needed to catch up with, so that left only one thing for him to do.
It didn’t take long for the crew to dock the ship, they were professionals after all, which was good since Jun had little desire to stay on the ship any longer then he needed. After all he had spend a great deal of time on the water over the past several months and he was glad to not only be on solid ground but back ‘home’. However, there was no time to reminisce for he had work to do and the first pace he needed to go was the old academy.
A lot had change since he had been gone that much was clear as he approached the ground, it looked then same for the most part but he could fell that things were different. After all things, could never truly go back as they once were, he had learned that the hared way. Finally arriving at the academy, he could not help but remember back to the old days when things seems much simpler, those days however were long gone. Were any of the old faces still around he wondered, would the resent him for not being here. As the what ifs over took him Jun could only look up into the stormy sky.
