Shouta, Tadashi No Clan
HAIR: Short black hair, with a wind swept fringe from left to right, leaving the fringe to cover the top of his right eye brow.
EYES: Cobalt blue eyes set in a near constant state of relaxation.
BODY TYPE: Tadashi is just under the average weight with some muscle tone.
STYLE: When not wearing the school's uniform, Tadashi will wear a pair of loose fitting blue jeans with a belt and an additional smaller belt to hang his weapon. He'll also usually wear a blue long sleeved turtle neck sweater and a single fingerless glove on his left hand. When winter comes, he wears a woolen trench coat with the same outfit but with a pair of thick gloves for protection from the cold. In all circumstances he wears a pair of black military boots that reach up to his mid shins.
OTHER: Tadashi can usually be seen carrying around a book to entertain himself when alone or bored.
Tadashi is quiet and thoughtful, prefering to let his actions speak for him. But he is not afraid to speak his mind when needed. When around friends, he'll usually be the same, except perhaps a little more talkative.
STRENGTHS: Hard working, Thoughtful, Practical
WEAKNESSES: Too reactive, Not very sociable, Forgets important details easily
LIKES: Practicing his skills, Reading, Dogs, Watching snow fall, Hot baths, Watching western action movies, Working at forges.
DISLIKES: Loudmouths, Too hot weather, Monkeys, Romance movies, Shonen Manga, Cockiness,Over compensators.
AMBITIONS: To learn the way of the sword and the ways of the hammer and forge to their full extent.
[b]WEAPON: Tadashi uses a Wakizashi, with a blade length of 18 inches. This sword would be wielded with an inverted grip alongside a tanto with a blade length of 10 inches. This would also be wielded inverted. The aim of such a style is for unpredictable attack paterns revolving around momentum and evasion, using the blades small sizes to get in close and then dance away with minimal harm. As such, the defensive power of such a style leaves Tadashi easily open to those with more experience and whom can counter his form of combat. Another point of weakness is a lack of guarding power, leaving himself open to any attacks he is not able to evade.

• Mother - Akane Shouta
• Mentor/Uncle - Akihito Shouta
BACKGROUND: Tadashi was born within Matsumoto in the Nagano Prefecture. As the only son of the small time Blacksmith, Minato Shouta, Tadashi grew up in an average and humble family enviroment. His mother, Akane Shouta, dotted on him when he was young before knuckling down on her son to work hard at his studies upon entering school. His early school years were near uneventful apart from the odd bullies here and there because of the boys quiet nature, but they never amounted to anything that could harm or affect the boy at the time. He worked hard to make his parents proud and gave no mind to socialising with other kids. He had friends here and there but they were never really countes amongst his circle of trust. As he grew, he became more enamoured with his fathers work, often watching his father as he worked at their small family forge, crafting horseshoes and tools amongst other things.
It wasn't until he turned 10 that his uncle, Akihito, decided to teach the boy how to fight. And so, he took Tadashi under his wing, teaching him basic martial arts. But his main teachings were of using swords. His uncle first introduced him to the Wakizashi and Tonto swords, small, single edged blades that could be decieving to the naked eye. Akihito showed him how to fight with such weapons. He taught him that even if the blades were smaller and not as strong as other weapons on their own, if they were weaved together, they could carve through a man as quickly as a Katana or other such weapon could. Granted, not with ease. For two years Tadashi trained with these weapons under his uncle, learning their quirks, how to move with them, how to strike. When not to strike. Learning how to avoid and how to counter. He soaked it all in, embracing the beauty of their dance. He never faltered to learn his fathers art though. He spent many an eve with Minato, helping to forge tools and orders he wasn't supposed to know of. His school work slipped slightly, causing Akane to nearly have a fit until all three males promised to make him focus on his studies once more.
And so he did. At the age of 14, Tadashi was easily one of the more wierder kids in his class. Rumors were that he spent more time in the hills and mountains playing with swords and reading books than playing sports or having fun with the other kids. He didn't care. He knew what he was doing was enjoyable for him.
But it would seem words and rumors spread quickly. One day, after an afternoon of training, Tadashi came home to find his small family waiting for him. In his mothers hand was a letter. Curious, he took the letter and opened it, his eyes widened a good deal. An invitation....
