Mika tapped her own chin with her phone when listening as well as catching the look of some familiarity or fondness to Bu. Mika just quietly glared and looked away to look at the armor. They seemed ready to be worn if given assistance but they're out in the main hall so time would be lost. She closed her eyes to think of the stories of armored ghosts and such. Ridiculous.
Still, the moment Karu said she was an Edo resident didn't bode well. Did they work something out or what about keeping Karu on the run with a relic the whole time? Must of it just didn't add up to Mika. There was a small sad note of disapproval about Karu though. Her family continued the life they held, dark shady work for money over the protection the Bugei could have given them. Found out the hard way why it won't work and oddly, if Karu just turned herself over as a Scion then their family would have more funds and protection they could ever have wanted than resort to continuing what they did. Mike turned back to Karu who seemed to smile happy with little regrets about it despite sharing what they have done.
"That really something to be proud of? Or"" some contentment that such is life," Mika asked herself with inability to see how they can be so happy. It's likely the only reason Karu and Bu could work so much better with each other coming from pathetic backgrounds to make a living to be where they are in still not the better outcomes that could have been but just the better to allow their survival to continue. Mika didn't agree with any of it.
"There isn't much more to the building. From this floor and above are classrooms. The third floor being more ornate if you wish to view that and the school roof area. If not, there is a cafeteria or the student dorms to eat something." Mika now stated a bit more loudly for the two to hear.
