Kire's battle had just begun. The inside of the pop up was a raging hell as everything from feet, to elbows, to knees slammed into him. If Kire had been more into martial arts it would have been like trying to face a crowd of twenty people at once, all throwing cheap shots at him. Yet somehow the Princess didn't seem to mind or care. In many ways it would even look as though she was the one throwing half the blows at other people. As she finally made her way through the crowd she grabbed a very expensive dress and skirt. The young lady cheered as she grabbed them, barely managing to avoid a finely manicured hand from grabbing them away from her. Now the only question was how to check out.

Looking around they would notice two very flamboyantly dressed foreigners holding credit card scanners. From the looks of them they seemed only half Japanese. They had on extremely bright clothing and even more flashy hair styles that could never exist in a world without at least six gallons of hair gel and even more coloring. The Princess would motion to Kire with a serious looking on her face, like a general giving orders to her troops as they managed to move over to check out the clothing she had bought. The entire time Kire's bruise count was quickly rising as by the time the Princess looked around and decided she didn't want anymore Kire must have felt like he had already fought three rounds against Yagyu-sensei and would have the nail marks to prove it.

The Princess, use to these situations, quickly managed to get outside but Kire would have a harder time of it. Once they did arrive outside the expression of the Princess would become a bit sour. When Kire finally got out of the crowd of people he would find the Princess glaring at him.
"Really?" was all she said in a huff. Parked on the side of the street was a slick black car with a golden Tokugawa crest on it and two samurai starring directly at both Kire and the Princess.
"I could have gone home myself like I said I would you know." she said in a very annoyed face at Kire as the two samurai approached them and gave a polite bow. The weirdest thing about the entire situation being that if Kire looked back at the pop up no one seemed to notice or care about the samurai present. They simply quarreled over the clothing inside. Mostly because these women came from a high enough social standing that they didn't have to worry about such things. It was high bred arrogance at it's finest.

"Thank you for finding the Princess for us." one of the samurai said to Kire. Both men had top knot hairstyles and had one beautiful dark blue robes with golden Tokugawa crests on the back and two swords on the hip.

This was properly miserable. It might not have been so bad if he could fight back, give a few hits back into the crowd. Why did it have to be full of girls. The least they could do was ignore him, he wasn't here to compete for whatever cheap fabric they were clamoring for. All he wanted was to get in and out without any fuss but that was not happening. At the very least, it was soon coming to an end. The princess had grabbed her target, some piece of nonsense that was lucky not to be torn in the melee.

It was more of the same getting to the check out guys. More foreign types like the snob at the restaurant. What was up with these people showing up and acting all superior, what was wrong with a good old fashioned shop with normal things where people behaved themselves? All these specialty things seemed to bring out the worst in everyone who went there. At least the waitress had been nice, even if she wasn't impressed by the ID. Oh well.

Getting out of the shop proved even harder than getting in, what sense did that make? Why were so many people reverting to primal urges and why were they all the sort of girl that Kire couldn't bring himself to fight back against. A brutish thug he probably wouldn't mind putting the boot in but all these upper class girls were really putting him off. Frankly, it added to the embarrassment of the situation, at least nobody from school was going to see this. But eventually he broke free from the mob and out onto the street beside the princess.

She was mad at him, which was fine, he wasn't too thrilled about her right now either but this time it wasn't his fault. "I didn't tell them to pick you up, I haven't even called them. I just told them I found you and was escorting you now." He said defensively. He bowed back to the samurai as they approached. At least they were traditional, something he understood. "How about next time you tell somebody where you're going first and then you won't have to deal with any of this mess?" Then somebody else could get beaten up in a women's clothing store and wander about a mall in a daze and looking like a complete idiot.

The two samurai looked at each other as though to instantly shut Kire down. One pulled out his phone and held up a message forwarded to the Shogunate. It was a message from Kire to his partner.
'found her, guarding now' then the other held up his phone as well, with a clear tracker of Kire's phone location. Then the two both put the phones away in unison as the Princess kept death glaring him. It was clear now how they had found her.
"How about next time you tell somebody where you're going first and then you won't have to deal with any of this mess?" Kire said, only to cause her to death glare him more.
"Hmph! Not like it matters. I was planning on going back after this anyway." the Princess huffed as she started walking towards the car. One of the samurai quickly opened the door for her as she got in and kept glaring Kire until the door was closed. If she was glaring him or not was unknown now since the car had extremely dark tent on the windows. It made it harder for assassins to know who was in the vehicle after all.

The samurai left with Kire gave another bow.
"Thank you. The Princess can be a handful at times." he said as he looked at the bruises and scrapes Kire had obtained. In his head he was just glad it was Kire who got beat up at the pop up and not one of them for once. Then the samurai held up his phone with the tracking program for Kire's and deleted Kire's phone information from it in front of him. It was his own way of saying that Kire wasn't going to be followed or anything now that the mission was complete. With that the samurai then joined his companion and the Princess in the car and drove off back to Edo Castle. This would of course leave Kire alone on the side of the street. If Kire turned around he would see the pop up empty and the women walking off like it was nothing, in spite of the scratches and bruises they all had.

Kire shrugged in response. "I didn't tell them." It was true. He had not told them where they were directly. That they wanted to come pick her up was not his problem. Nor was he to blame, really. He'd just been doing his job properly and he'd been kind enough to let her shop and not bother her all that much about her terrible decisions. He'd hardly even done any complaining, at least, not out loud where she could hear him. In his head he'd been complaining almost every moment since he met her on the stupid escalator.

Kire watched her get into the car and then bowed respectfully to the guards who had come to pick her up. It was the right thing to do, after all. They outranked him, essentially. Best to show deference to the higher ups when they deserved it and weren't being snotty upstarts with a selfish streak a mile wide. More whining and complaining in his head that would, for his own safety, never be said aloud. The princess was likely to strangle him herself, seeing how she fared in the shop, he didn't doubt that she might even manage to do it.

The car pulled away and Kire nodded to himself, coming to a decision. He slowly cracked his knuckles, and his neck. He needed to have a little chat with those bastards running the place. He deserved a little bit of a treat for a job well done. Something before he wrote up his report and put in the paperwork. In fact, it could be considered important intelligence gathering. He smiled and turned to the store front. It was emptying out which was good, it would make what came next easier. Can't write a report with incomplete information and he had some questions for the idiots who were running this temporary shop.

Unfortunately as Kire went to look for the shop owners they had already left. All that was left in the small shop appeared to be a few women arguing over the clothes they had managed to grab and attempting to set up some kind of trade. At this point Kire would receive a text from the school stating that his mission was now complete.

It would be a few days before Kire heard anything from the heads of the school about his mission. It would even make him begin to wonder when, if ever, he would receive his reward credits. Finally, one day early in the morning Kire would be called to the Headmaster's office. In the office was one of the guards that Kire saw pick up the Princess, as well as the Princess herself and of course Headmaster Hosokawa. Kire would of course be expected to give a formal bow in the presence of her highness.
"Welcome Mr. Kire. The princess would like to say something to you this morning." and with that he gave a polite bow as the Tokugawa Princess stepped forward.
"I wanted to thank you joining me at the boutique. I wanted to give you these in person." unlike previously the Princess was dressed in long robes with a golden Tokugawa crest on the back and her hair down. Holding out her hands would be two letters and a bag full of coins, Kire's earned school credits.

The two letters, one was from the school. it read that the school received praise from the Tokguawa Shogunate for Kire's actions and swiftly finding the Princess. A similar letter was apparently also sent to Matsushina. The other letter was from the Shogun himself. It read that the Shogun was grateful to Kire for finding his daughter and taking care of her during her shopping expedition. It also stated that if Kire had any expenses or thought he shouldn't have paid for anything from the mission to let the shogunate know.

"Thank you for accompanying me." the Princess said formally. Giving a polite bow. Headmaster Hosokawa also spoke up.
"You have received full credit for this assignment as well as a letter of praise from the Shogun himself. Please, be proud." he said with a fox like grin. After all the accomplishments of his students always reflected on the school, and of course upon himself as the academy's headmaster. As the quartet chatted Kire would be asked to give a recount of everything that happened to the headmaster, and then the Princess and her bodyguard would formally leave. After a bit more conversation with the Headmaster Kire would be thanked again and finally allowed to return to his classes.
