Recently more and more of these special relics have been activating, signaling the start of a great change as ancient power meets the modern world!

Now For The Local News, 7/10/2017 A blood red summer has come. As the Edo Bugei students finish facing off with the ikko forces all across the nation a massive steel ship floats towards Edo Harbor. Many voices resounded through out the small theater as Bugei students, citizens of Edo, and even some foreigners visiting the great city flooded in. The entire theater was packed as everyone focused on the stage.

"EVERYONE! EVERYONE! PLEASE BE QUIET! THE STORY IS ABOUT TO BEGIN!" a body-less voice shouted from somewhere off stage. Everyone began quieting down as the theater lighting began to dim and the stage lighting started getting brighter. A single woman stepped on stage, slowly looking out upon the darkened crowd. In her hands nothing more then a fan, a water bottle, and a small cloth.

"GOOD EVENING EVERYONE!" she called out, waiting for a response while giving the crowd a large smile.
"TONIGHT! I BRING YOU A CLASSIC TALE! A STORY OF A YOUNG MAN WITH GREAT AMBITION! HIS STRUGGLES AGAINST THE LAW, AND THE STRING HE DANGLES UPON!" and with that the crowd cheered a bit as the woman unfolded the fan, putting it in front of her mouth for a moment, her eyes looking as those they could tell a thousand tales and hold twice as many secrets.
"Tonight's special tale! The story of a boy named Kitsu and his ambitions!" she said waving the fan rapidly in the air as the crowd cheered more. Lowering the fan she then gave a deep bow.
"NOW PLEASE! ENJOY!" and with that she began to weave a tale so fine it was as though the crowd would actually be standing in the distance, watching events unfold.

As a full moon shined over the city of Edo, it was late in the night when a group of samurai, dressed in commoner clothes and wearing scarves around their mouths suddenly burst in to a home in Eastern Edo. The large wooden house had managed to survive the Great Kanto Earthquake, one of the only ones to do so. However, this was no normal house. This house was home to the ominous Ichiroku Gang! The gang had been terrorizing the people of Edo for months. Exploiting their suffering, demanding money, and even selling drugs to school children. The government initially wanted to arrest the Ichiroku and put them on trial, however tonight would see no trial. In the chaos of the earthquake multiple gangs had risen all over Edo and at the moment gang fights had become common. This presented perfect chance for a small group of elite samurai to charge into the Ichiroku's headquarters. As one of the gang members stood up to protest the samurai's presence his head was quickly removed from his shoulders. In an instant everyone in the house understood what was going on. The samurai who entered left no room for surrender, for argument, or even a last prayer as every room in the house was quickly painted red. In less than half an hour, every leading member of Eastern Edo's most notorious gang was dead. After each member of the group had completed his assigned mission they re-assembled at the entry way of the home. The leader of the samurai looked at his four retainers.
"Do it" and with that nearly every inch of the home would be doused in gasoline. As the five left a single match would fall to the floor, igniting the entire building and every corpse inside of it. The five samurai then fled swiftly in different directions. The only thing the five had in common is that each had a tattoo somewhere on their body that represented the Iga-ryu.

It wouldn't take long for news of the incident to spread across Edo. Even the students of Edo Bugei, who essentially existed within a gilded prison would hear about Edo's largest gang being put down. After all the Bugei students had been sent out on multiple missions to deal with them in the past. The main issue was that this created a large power vacuum within Edo's underworld. The multiple gangs of Edo started fighting among themselves even more in order to decide who would take over for the now destroyed Ichiroku. The lower ranking members that hadn't been around that night had quickly either started their own clans or merged into others.

One person in particular would hear news of this a bit quicker than others. An Iga by the name of Kitsu. He would simply hear of the Ichiroku being murdered and the various gangs of Edo fighting even more. After all, even within the Iga-ryu everything was a secret. Kitsu would likely never know that it was members of his own clan that did the killing. Now the question was, with Edo's gangs in chaos how would he react?

Kitsu was leaned back in a chair in the school appointed apartment. He managed to get a room by himself, and was thinking about how to get a particular Tokugawa to agree to room with him. He had a magazine filled with guns and ammunition draped over his face as he leaned back with his feet on a desk nearby, the radio playing some long forgotten Japanese play. He hummed along to the singer as it told a story of love lost, when a 'non-emergency' radio broadcast's soft tones came over the radio, interrupting his music. Kitsu didn't move, and continued humming the tune that was playing, as if not to loose his spot for when the music comes back on.

The news lately was filled with restless roving bands of gangs trying to make a buck off of civilians and drugs. He admired the more 'honest' groups that didn't involve children in the drug trade. The gamblers and political giants that gained their money from the 'protection' and 'service' rackets was more admirable than to sell drugs at all. He had a whiteboard that had some of the major gangs on it, and each one had a score next to them on a big chart, almost like a sports fanatic. This bulletin was different however, describing the destruction of one of the top gangs in the area.

Kitsu sighed. "I suppose I owe some money now..." he had put a bet on who was the next gang to die out, and was wrong. He would stand up, the magazine falling from his face and making a small clack on the floor. He walked over to the board and wiped the side of his hand over the Ichiroku. He looked over the board and his eyes widened. "No one owns this area now." He stepped back a few steps. It was going to be all out war in the area, and it was anyone's game.....anyone....even...

Kitsu would grab his kimono and quickly tie the sash around himself, grabbing his sword and pistol and positioning them on his belt, checking his ammunition. "If it's anyone's game to control the area, then it's MY game." He would throw the door of his apartment open with a determined glare in his eyes, and a hand on his pistol, ready to fire on anyone. Anarchy, day one, should be just fine. It reminded him of a great movie quote that seemed appropriate for the situation, but it must be saved for the right moment...

He walked to the front of the apartment complex, and opened the glass doors, walking out into the evening twilight. "Step one is to secure my area. I'm sure some gang knows that the students of Bugei are here, and potentially ripe for the recruitment." Kitsu would begin walking the streets around the apartment complex.

The news spread like wildfire around the city of Edo and even beyond. When the top gang in the eastern part of the capital dies it begins to create a massive power vacuum in the underworld. Multiple smaller gangs, all afraid of the Ichiroku, began coming out of hiding. Even now in Eastern Edo various people dressed in different colors began moving about in back alleys and shady dives glancing over at eachother and checking cell phones, as though waiting on a signal to begin assaulting one another. Meanwhile a number of metsuke in Eastern Edo kept watch on the gangs. It was a powder keg that everyone knew would detonate sooner or later. The issue at hand was that no one knew how much time was left on the fuse. A few of the smaller gangs had already started contacting one another, making deals and deciding on targets together for when things finally got out of hand.

Unfortunately for Kitsu, he would be oblivious to any of this happening. Right now both the prize and battleground had become Eastern Edo. After the quake the Edo Bugei students had been moved to a massive apartment complex in the highly glamorous and well guarded area of Western Edo. To make matters worse many of the Bugei students happened to be well known Tokugawa loyalists. None of Edo's gangs had any intention of entering Western Edo and lowering their possible fighting forces in the East for even a minute. Thus, on a dark night in Western Edo Kitsu began wondering around the apartment housing for not. In truth the boy looked more like a highly trained security guard for the building, and far less like a possible candidate for a street gang's army. As though to add insult to injury some of the Edo Bugei students, recognizing him from classes, even smiled and waved at him as they passed by and returned to the dorms after a long day of classes and shopping. In the distance cicada could be heard buzzing away and people could be seen walking down the street talking about political matters, however in terms of gang activity in the area, there was none. After all the area was home to a rather large amount of Edo's law enforcement officers.

Meanwhile inside Edo Castle a young man with striking red hair was tinkering away at a small mechanical bird when a knock came to his door. The man eyed the door carefully before getting up to slide it open. No one was on the other side, however a black envelop with a red seal was left on the floor. Inside was a series of coded communication about the current situation in Eastern Edo and the rather non-subtle movements of the local gangs. Hattori Hanzo simply smiled a bit before flicking a corner of the letter and causing it to burst into flames. Walking back over to the mechanical bird for a moment he looked out his window facing Eastern Edo. The lights and sounds from the city as beautiful in the distance as usual, in spite of the swarms of rats quickly moving to try and devour the underbelly of the city.

Kitsu wandered around for what felt like an eternity, but was in reality only about 10 minutes. He nodded and smiled to the 'civilians', he chuckled to himself as he thought about how he separated them as civilians and gangsters. It was almost like it was a children's game such as cops and robbers or cowboys and Indians. He would stare with a questioning look when he didn't see any of them with any sort of gang related tattoos or colors, much less aggressive behavior.

He would take out a piece of paper from his hakama and unfold it. He would study it for a moment, muttering to himself the name of the group that was just eradicated, running his finger across the page. It was a crudely drawn map of Edo, with different colors to indicate the groups that he knew were operating in the city. He wiped a bit of sweat of his brow before realizing what he had done.

He would sigh and turn the map around, realizing that it had been upside-down, and he mistook East and West Edo on his badly hand drawn map. He was not an artist by any definition of the word, so it was an easily done mistake. He would fold the paper back up, and place it into an inside pocket on his kimono before turning around and walking the other way. Now that he was headed in the direction of the actual events.

He would slowly remove his pistol from it's silk holster, inspecting it like he had done many times before having a target practice session. He would ensure that the barrels were clean and unobstructed by anything, before sliding in the ammunition capsules, loading it quickly. He would prime the firing pan by loading it with black powder and pulling the hammer back. He would slip the pistol back into it's holster, feeling better that it was loaded and could be quickly drawn on a moment's notice. He reached up and wiped the metal clan insignia on his choker with his kimono sleeve, almost to make sure it gained attention of those around him. He was itching for a fight, and was ready for one as he finally made his way in the correct direction.

Kitsu

That's right folks! After being briefly turned around the young hero of our story was finally on the way to the correct part of town! You see Edo, as you know, is fairly large. To walk from Western Edo to Eastern Edo would be nearly impossible and take many hours. Thus, Kitsu began walking towards Western Edo's train station. As Kitsu arrived at the platform it was late in the evening and on one was present, save for a few people from Eastern Edo who had wrapped up business in Western Edo and currently traveled back East to rest at home. The sun had already set and night was settling in quite well. Many of the people looked at Kitsu strangely. Some oddly dressed boy was trying to go to Eastern Edo late at night. Though at this point in time many strange people exist in the city. Perhaps he had gotten lost or was running errands for some noble or another. As the train doors slid open Kitsu would walk in and take a seat.

Kitsu would find the train relatively empty save for a few people. As the train's warning buzzers went off the doors closed and the train was on it's way to the Eastern part of the city. First it would travel through Central Edo and Kitsu would be able to easily see the center piece of the city, Edo Castle. It stood as an ever faithful reminder of the Shogunate's power and, as well as the power of all who supported it. From a high balcony, a single figure stood in darkness watching the train pass by. It would have been impossible for Kitsu to see him or know he was there, but the figure simply smiled as he watched the train quickly move through Central Edo.

Kitsu may have even felt chills up and down his spine as the figure smiled a bit and drifted slowly back into the castle. The current head of the Hattori Iga Ryu appeared next to the Shogun, his eyes closed and his words quiet.
"My lord, I would like to offer a suggestion on our problems within Eastern Edo." even though the Shogun couldn't see him the ninja still gave a deep bow as he spoke. Slowly turning around the Shogun waved his hand a bit. The ninja was quick in his response.
"If a pack of rabid dogs are going to tear at eachother's throats, why not simply prop a dog up, and make sure it is our dog that wins?" a dark smile slowly crossed the ninja's lips. Not because he felt clever for his idea, quite the contrary. The thought of simply murdering every thug, gangster, and criminal in Eastern Edo had crept through his mind. However he knew his lord would never agree to such a thing, and chose to keep those thought well hidden. In spite of what in his mind was a beautiful scene of rows of tattooed and pierced bodies covered in blood and broken weaponry.

The shogun sat thinking for a few minutes, as Kitsu's train arrived in Eastern Edo. The shogun then gave his ninja curious look.
"Did you have a particular mongrel in mind?" but the Hattori simply smiled wider.
"Not necessarily my lord. Just a stray dog I'm steadily growing curious about. The kind that would see raw danger and decide to leap head first." with that he began slowly moving a kunai around in one hand, both to steadily ease his thoughts from earlier and also partially out of habit.
"If you can keep the situation in Eastern Edo contained, I don't see why not." and with that the Shogun turned back around to his desk, finishing up a few more bits of paperwork before bed. It was late and he already knew that upon getting permission the shinobi would be gone anyway.

As Kitsu arrived in Eastern Edo it wouldn't take a genius to figure out how tense the air around him was. Eastern Edo was full of people but all of the dangerous ones stood still, looking at their phones every half minute while the non-dangerous ones seemed on edge and like they wanted to quickly leave whatever are they happened to be in and get home. A few streets away a rather dirty looking vagrant approached four tattood men with the number "23" on their right arms. The red haired vagrant looked at the four of them and went wide eyed.
"OH SHIT! NI-JYU-SAN!" he exclaimed as the four men just looked at him. One of them, a man with a large mohawk and multiple nose piercings stepped forward.
"FUCK OF IT UH?!" he said pushing the vagrant a bit. The man was quick to back away from the gang members.
"I...I'm sorry I just thought you all died." he said looking honestly surprised as though the man who had pushed him was some kind of ghost. The mohawked man grabbed the vagrant's collar and quickly pushed him up against a wall before pulling out a knife.
"FUCK YOU SAY!" and putting the knife against the man's throat. The poor vagrant went white as a sheet as sweat dripped a bit from his forehead and started shaking his head quickly.
"I'M SORRY! I'M SORRY! I'M SORRY! ITS JUST THIS GUY SAID HE KILLED YOU ALL!" the gang member quickly tossed the vagrant across the alleyway and screamed.
"WHO THE FUCK SAID HE KILLED US!" but the vagrant turned around and quickly entered a begging position.
"Some guy by the train station! I swear! He hat short red hair like me, but younger! He had a pistol and a collar on him! He boasted that he already killed your gang and anyone left was just shit that fell off his shoes! Here, I took a picture of him with my phone!" and he showed a picture of Kitsu. The three other gang members instantly got up looking pissed.
"FUCK THIS GUY! WE'LL KILL HIM!" one of them said. The mohawked apparent leader picked up a pipe and looked at his men.
"Killed us huh? OH yeah, we'll show him just how alive we are! Lets go!" and with that all four completely forgot about the vagrant they had almost murdered. Leaving him alone in the side street. After all four had left the vagrant just smiled a bit as several kunai dropped from his sleeve.
"I could get rid of them myself, but I'm a lot more curious about this. After all, students who violate the school's curfew should be punished right?" and with that the "vagrant" slowly faded into the darkness of the alley way.

It would be sometime later that four men approached Kitsu. One had a large mohawk and multiple piercings. The three behind him all looked pretty generic. One with a white hoodie and his hands in his pocket, one with an orange baseball cap and some excessively high priced clothing, and the third wearing all black like he was about to rob someone. The man with the mohawk immediately walked right up to Kitsu and threw a hard punch directly at his jaw without even a word.

Boring train ride. More than boring, actually. Cripilingly boring. It was annoying to ride a train with adrenaline flowing while looking around at the few people who were here that were riding as well. An empty threat and a body primed for action is a bad combination. He felt eyes staring at him, little did he know it was from the castle in the distance. It made him itch with irritation, and he stood up in the train car, announcing to the passangers, "The fuck yall lookin' at?!" He looked around the car and everyone undoubtably would probably be looking at him now after his little outburst. He would simply move train cars to find an empty one and sit back down.

Stepping off the train, he would grow suspicious. An empty platform where no other passangers had gotten off the train. Surely not everyone heard about this upset in the gang world. He would put himself on guard and his muscles tensed as he moved out of the trainstation to the streets. He spotted a few groups of roving smaller gangs, easily identifyable by their signs and colors, and knew that some of these low class groups wouldn't try a hostile takeover of such a large area. He would turn and start to walk down the street, looking for bigger fish to fry, and even was going to ignore the '23s' walking on the same side of the street as himself. After all, who would bother someone with obviously no gang affiliation besides being an Iga clansman?

A blindside as one of the three decided to sucker punch him in the jaw. His muscles clenched reflexivly, catching his upper body in mid recoil. He was lucky he was used to having a lot of force put on his body, and that his muscles were attuned to keeping his upper body steady. He would pause in his slightly turned position and swish some saliva around his mouth, before spitting out a bit of blood. His yellow eyes flashed, as if it was a warning color on some deadly insect warning predators away.

"I'm assuming that wasn't an accident," he said ominously as he straightend his stance back to simply standing. He rubbed his jaw and opened and closed his mouth a few times to ensure it wasn't broken. He would draw his pistol quickly, already having been primed and the flint cocked back. His confidence boiled his blood, a strange feeling knowing that he could simply end their lives immediately. The hammer of his pistol akin to the axe of the executioner or the blade of the gullitine.

He would adjust his stance again, trying to get maximum power out of his strike, and would rocket a fist towards the initial attacker's stomach. If it landed, he would assume the perpatrator to be doubled over in pain, allowing him to follow up with a pistol barrel being placed against his temple. Everything going accordingly, he would drop the axe. A triggerpull would show that he wasn't one to be triffled with. If anything in this plan went awry, Kitsu would draw his sword and be ready to fight.

Theme Music is Here

"OH SHIT!"
A cry that could be heard from one of the obvious gang members just waiting for things to go down in Eastern Edo. The sound of a fist impacting Kitsu's jaw wasn't subtle at all and a bunch of the gathered thugs either turned to watch what would happen next or started texting out messages to everyone they knew in the area. Later on, at least in Eastern Edo, it would be know that the 23's officially threw the opening punch in the Eastern Edo turf wars. For the first time Eastern Edo no longer felt like a place full of dread, but instead felt almost insanely alive. A stone had finally dropped in the water and the ripples it caused would be felt for a long time.

The gangster gritted his teeth a bit as he slammed his fist hard into the side of Kitsu's face. The bastard in front of him had a surprisingly hard jaw but he still knew he landed hard at Kitsu turned his head and spit out blood. The other two with him quickly ran forward with metal pipes. This wasn't a casual flexing of muscle, this was by every means a murder scene in progress. Kitsu managed to knock the leader in the stomach and bring him to his knees, but as he tried to draw his gun he already had two punks in gray hoodies, one on each of his sides, aiming directly for his ribs with steel pipes.

From a side street, not noticed by anyone the leader of the Hattori watched with a massive smile on his face. Everything was going as planned as even he sent a few text messages to some phones he had managed to hack the numbers for talking about how the opening shots had been fired. All over the city everyone who had been standing around suddenly sprung to life and began moving. Everyone had areas they wanted, and now was the time to go get them.

Various low level henchmen approached their bosses showing them text messages and videos of Kitsu's current fight, pointing out the 23 tattoos on the thug's faces.
"GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER! LETS ROLL!" would feel like the motto that evening.
user posted image

An overly ambitious street thug would even approached the man stalking Kitsu.

"HEY! ASSHOLE! Give me your money and we'll keep this shit real peaceful!" he said holding a jitte in his hand. Hattori Keiichi didn't bother responding. Instead turning around and quickly applying a large amount of pressure to the boy's temple. His vision would blank out for a moment, like a white burst of light directly in front of him as his body nearly passed out. He then went back to seeing what Kitsu would do next.

Kitsu would be interrupted by the approach of two pipe-wielding members of the quickly developing brawl. He would go to his fallback, and draw his sword quickly, ignoring the person who was doubled over for the minute. He would use his sword to block any incoming strikes as he drew his pistol as quickly as he could, and aimed from his hip at almost point blank. Kitsu's body would absorb the recoil, but cause him to turn slightly to compensate for the force behind the powerful weaon. He would fire a shot at the closest target, remembering what his father taught him about shooting in self-defense. Always aim for the center of mass, it was the largest part of a person to hit, and people tend to lose the will to fight with a bullet in their chest.

He would activate his auto-reload (Activated ability #1), wich filled his pistol automatically for the next shot. He cocked the hammer back and took aim at his next target. He still felt eyes on him, it was the same feeling he got from earlier, but this time, the feeling was almost encouraging. It was as if someone was intrigued with his possible ability. It was almost as if an angel, or a demon more likely, was watching over him. Though any involvement as far as helping was more than likely out of the question. This was something that Kitsu needed to do by himself.

He would keep his defenses up, and count his shots that he had left in his auto-reload. He could fire three more times without having to stop and manually reload his weapon. He would continue to hip fire at the near point blank range with his over powered weapon, the recoil causing his whole body to turn slightly on every shot, he would ensure to take out the two with actual weapons, the fist fighter being of little concern at the moment. With the second shot fired, Kitsu would cock the hammer back again, and a bullet and powder would seem to materialize within seconds. "Two shots left," he thought to himself.

The Hattori sighed at Kitsu's response to the situation. The moment Kitsu had started shooting everyone began screaming and running. Civilians and thugs alike. Most of the thugs in the area dropped the spiked chains, knuckles, and knives they brought with them and rapidly ran away from the area.
"HE HAS A GUN!" someone screamed as people began either screaming and pointing. Mother rushed their children away as quickly as possible. Husbands guarded their wife and kids and quickly ushered them inside near by apartment buildings. Other people just turned ghostly pale and ran away as fast as they could. Someone had pulled a gun in the middle of Edo's residential area. This was clearly either an act of invasion or terrorism by rogue samurai.
"SOMEONE CALL THE METSUKE!" a middle aged woman screamed before trying to run away as quickly as she could in spite of her wearing heels.
"SHIT! Forget the Metsuke call the scions!" an older man yelled.

"Using a gun in a crowded area. Lovely." Keiichi just shook his head more. Two people now lay dead on the ground. the fist fighter in front of Kitsu tried hard to run away, his eyes full of tears at his now dead comrades. It was clear that a rogue samurai was murdering people in Eastern Edo. Fights where going on all over the city, however in the capital of Edo guns had been considered fairly heavy weaponry to a city full of traditional samurai and thugs with hand to hand weaponry. Alarm sirens could soon be heard in the area. It was clear the Metsuke would be arriving shortly. Kitsu would need to run and quickly.

Meanwhile some of the thugs who didn't seem phased by the incident quickly began snapping pictures of Kitsu before retreating, sending the pictures to their leaders and other thugs in the area with captions like.
"First shots fired, literally." two rather intimidating thugs opened their phones and laughed a bit.
user posted image

"Wow, someone doesn't know how to hold back huh?" the eye-patched man said. His companion just laughed a bit.
"Send a message back. Tell them to watch the brat. I think we need to have a talk about how things work around here Diego." and with that the pair began moving towards the train station area.

Meanwhile a large group in black coats started laughing at eachother over the images that came through.
"WOW! CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS KID?! JUST CALL THE METSUKE HUH?" one said, another yelled back.
"BOSS! Metsuke in coming! I say we let him get arrested, once hes gone we go out and gank people." he said quickly moving his thumbs across a mouse and keyboard, already wrapped up in an mmo. The female boss of the gang just laughed a bit.
"Nah, I'm sure Diego and his little henchmen are already on their way to try and recruit the boy, or kill him. I say we hang back. Caution wins the day right?" she said with a dark grin. The leader of "Crows" was a very cautious woman. After all she was well versed in history. She knew the best people waited until the time was just right to strike, and she fully intended to as well.

Meanwhile the area around Kitsu had suddenly gotten empty as he stood with the literal smoking gun next to two dead bodies. A few people watched him from side alleys or windows. If Kitsu looked in the direction of the windows they would quickly close and all lights in the apartment would turn off. No one wanted anything to do with a murderer.

Everyone scattered. Two bodies at his feet and a fleeing fist fighter. He pointed his gun at the back of the fleeing gang member. He had a look of determination and violence in his eyes as his eyes narrowed and he took aim. He hesitated for a moment, hearing the cries of the poor unarmed man, and his aim wavered and his barrel lowered an inch or two. His face softened for a moment and his mind raced.
"I should shoot him where he stands, right in the back..." He aimed his pistol again, but sighed and relaxed his firing arm, letting it drop to his side. He shrugged his arms a few times as if to ask an invisible person around him if it was the right thing to do. He wasn't here to slaughter everyone, just to take territory. And a fleeing enemy that is unarmed isn't a threat, at least for the moment.

With a fifty/fifty chance of the gang member fleeing to tell everyone where he was, he assumed he had made enough racket and drawn enough attention that it didn't matter if he let him go, and he watched the man flail away into the twilight. Kitsu looked around to see all the lights went off, and civilians were off the streets, which was both good and bad. On the one hand, that means fear is running around for the moment, and there was less of a chance of shooting a civilian. On the other hand, police were on their way more than likely.

Kitsu would holster his gun and sheath his sword before looking around. There was a dark alleyway that led off the streets and he would walk at a fast pace to get to the alleyway. Unbeknown to Kitsu, the ninja who was keeping an eye on them was lurking down thataways. He would simply stay vigilant, and strike a defensive stance if he saw him.

Two people had died, and a third ran away with a few superficial issues. Right now Kitsu had labeled himself as a direct threat to the peace of the area. As loud bells rang all through out the city and a few whistles sounded a large manhunt would now be on for the Bugei student. Though what was about to happen would be far outside of the realm of anyone's imagination. As Kitsu turned and ran down a dark alleyway it would be completely empty. No one was present, and he couldn't even feel the presence of cold, deadly eyes on his back.

As he follow the alleyway deeper into the small maze it created he would find a series of back roads with gang graffiti all over them. A few homeless people looked up at him but then simply rolled over and went back to sleep or paid him little mind. They didn't know who he was, and they didn't care. The downside to Edo's largest gambling area was that many of the people that came here ended up broke and homeless almost over night. If the victims happened to be from outside of Edo, they ended up with no way to get home, and no money to travel. Thus they would be stuck on the streets of Eastern Edo indefinitely as vagrants and beggars.

Unfortunately what Kitsu would also find, or perhaps what would find him, would be two rather rough looking men. They both smiled widely, looking both pissed and excited at the same time. One of them was blond with an eye patch, and the other looked like an old school thug or villain.

"Hey, kid, we've been looking for you." said the blond. As he finished his sentence the man with black hair pulled out a gun and fired it directly between Kitsu's legs as the homeless in the area went wide eyed and start gathering up what few things they had and fleeing.

"So you think you are hot shit huh? Comin' into here. Droppin' some low level pricks and setting things off?" the black haired man asked, his right eye brow raised in irritation as he spoke, quickly shooting off another around to the left of Kitsu's head.

"Listen kid. You can act like tough shit, but you are either going to be killed or absorbed into another gang. You seem like a tough little bastard and rumor has it you might be from the Bugei. We could use a new errand boy. What do you say? Want to play fetch for us and be our doggy?" the blond said with a large, mocking grin as the man with the black hair smirked and kept his gun aimed at Kitsu. These men weren't like the thugs that had attacked Kitsu. Given their suits and how they carried themselves these two knew how to kill, and clearly had people under them. This is what the organized crime of Eastern Edo looked like.

"Lil' shit should be blessed, we even came in person." the black haired man said before spitting on the ground, making sure to keep his aim steady while keeping himself a medium distance from Kitsu. After all he wasn't about to get within striking range while using a medium range weapon. They weren't nearly that green. It would also be about now that Kitsu would feel it, an ice cold gaze that would make the hair on the back of his neck stand up. If the other two felt it, they didn't seem to be showing a response.

Kitsu would sink down against a wall and sigh. He started to think about all the lessons in Ninjitsu his father tried to teach him about getting away and kept coming up blank. He steadied his breathing and relax for just a second. "Hey kid, we've been looking for you."

Kitsu looked up, not too terribly surprised. He wasn't interested in fighting this time however. He would stand up, his body language showing he wasn't cowering, but definately wasn't ready to fight. He faced directly towards them and put his hands up lazily as they spoke. His eye visibly twitched at being called a dog. He chuckled slightly at it though because he referred to himself as a fox occasionally, and dog wasn't far off.

"I'm not lookin for a fight with you. Put your gun down," he said cooly. "My weapons aren't drawn. I put down those others because they attacked first, so lets not make this bloody." He felt the eyes of whoever it was on him, and thought that he was being watched again. He shook it off and kept negotiating. Now wasn't the time for fighting. "First of all, tell me who you're with. I don't see any gang markings to identify you, and not introducing yourself is just plain rude.

He did remember part of his training his father gave. Only strike when the opportunity is given, and don't make unnessassary enemies. This is one of those times to follow this advice.

Kitsu
As Kitsu put his hands up and talked politely both men glared. The blond man walked up to Kitsu and back handed him hard across the face as the black haired man kept his gun on Kitsu.
"Listen you little shit. Know the names of your masters. I'm Diego, and my brother is Kazamasa." the blond haired man said with a decided scowl. He pulled out a card from his pocket and flicked it at Kitsu's forehead. The card was a pitch black card with a large skull on it wearing an eye-patch.
"How about you learn some respect. Start calling me Lord Diego. Maybe I won't have Kazamasa shoot your legs threw. Come on, speak." meanwhile the black haired man couldn't stop laughing.
"Guns drawn? Proper names? Kid you are stupid. Around here you get power from having power. You better learn quick." the black haired man said with a large grin as he stuck his gun out a bit more in case Kitsu had any dumb ideas.

Around this time three young men with spiky brown hair and yellow hoodies walked into the alley way. All three looked to be about 17.
"OH MAN! SKULLS!" one of them said, tugging on the sleeves of the other two. As all three started backing away slowly Kazamasa turned around and shot several bullets near the kids. Two of the kids with hoodies screamed as their friend passed out.
'WHAT THE HELL MAN?!" one of them yelled.
"Shut up and sit there you little shits. You three are going to join us after we get this bastard with us." and then turned back around to his brother and Kitsu. The boys behind him crying and tugging at their unconscious friend to try and get him to move so they could run.
"EVERYONE IS JOINING US TODAY KIDS!" Kazamasa said laughing like a psychopath.

Meanwhile, on the other side of town a woman in a long black cloak moved through the city with her followers.

The woman and her gang moved through the city like a tornado. As thugs rioted and fought eachother the woman simply pointed and her man ran up on the thugs with baseball bats to beat them down and stop their struggling. As a group of four thugs, all wearing yellow, laid on the ground crawling in pain the woman walked up to them.

"Listen you dumb bastards. Just because a turf war has broken out doesn't mean you can go wrecking everything in sight you dumb bastards. Don't you understand? After we finish taking over this city we still need a city left to rule. So you either join us, or die. clear?" she said as all four quickly nodded. She threw them black and blue scarves and nodded.
"Now take off those stupid yellow hoodies and put those scarves around your necks. You are with us. LETS GO BOYS!" she said and let out a large laugh. The war for the city was heating up!

Try as he might to keep his temper under control, being insulted and having things flicked at him got the best of him. He kept his hands lazily up, and walked over to the gang member closest to him, the one without the gun. He seemed like he was submitting, and wanted the person to think he was. Just before he attacked, another few gang members of a different group showed up, and bullets began to fly. It was just the distraction he needed. Hopefully this new gang wouldn't engage him after he had taken care of the two in front of him.

Kitsu would place a hand on his gun and use his second activated (Ogre Powerstrike). The red haired Iga gunman would uppercut at the gang member's chin, attempting to knock him out, or worse. If he was sucsessful, he would grab the gang member and use him as a human shield against the rival gunman. Kitsu would finally pull out his own pistol and fire a .54 caliber round directly at the gang member's center of mass, and his last shot from auto reload would fill the chamber. "One left, hope I don't need it right now."

COOLDOWN BEGINS: 1/3

In a flash two of the most dangerous gang members in Eastern Edo had died. Kitsu had smashed one man's jaw and shot another through the heart. The one shot through the heart was decidedly dead while his "brother" lay on the ground with a destroyed jaw. The two young men in hoodies, letting their unconscious friend lay on the ground, looked up at Kitsu wide eyed, their fists clenched. Suddenly all three would run at Kitsu, but not to attack him. Instead the two conscious boys gathered around the man who's jaw Kitsu had broken and started violently kicking him.
"YOU RAT BASTARD!" one of them screamed.
"SCREW THE SKULLS!" the other said kicking even harder until the man was clearly dead.

One of the boys spit on the now bloodied corpse as the other one looked at Kitsu.
"Bro! That was awesome! Do you know who you just took out? Leaders of one of the largest street gangs in Eastern Edo! They have been harassing everyone man! This is awesome!" one of them explained. Meanwhile the eyes Kitsu felt watching him seemed to become less bloodthirsty. Almost as though settling down a bit.

When the third hoodied gang member woke up he looked shocked at the two bodies.
"A-are those the leaders of the skulls?!" he shouted and pointed. His two friends nodding.
"Dude took both of them out! Maybe he is a scion or something?" and with that all three turned and looked at Kitsu wide eyed waiting to hear if he actually was a Scion or not.
"Woah! Does that mean you attend Edo Bugei?" another kid asked. All three seemed fairly dirty and likely lived on the streets. The only thing the three seemed to have in common was how dirty they all looked and the fact all three currently had on matching orange hoodies.
