Suginami ward is a a purposefully quiet ward in Western Edo. Many of the Shogunate's top officials and metsuke leaders, as well as retired samurai, live in this ward. It has a mansion belonging to every daimyo clan in Japan out of historical habit, even though most of the mansions are now rented out to Edo's administrative officials.
Omiya Hachiman: Omiya Hachiman is a small shrine in Western Edo. Many elderly citizens and those that do not want to go to the overly crowded shrines in other wards of Edo tend to come here on holiday evenings for small food stalls and prayers.
Suginami Housing District: A large area full of clan mansions, as well as mansions belonging to the Shogun's administrative aids and metsuke. The mansions here are well guarded and quite large. They are beautiful to see for those not use to living in Edo.
Edo Historic Archive: A massive library in Western Edo. This library has various film reels and old books dating even as far back as Edo's founding. For those interested in Edo's history it is a great place to spend a summer afternoon.
