"Yes my dear, truely you are divine." the man said as he moved through the graveyard. His waltz in perfect sync with his partner's. The corpse having a smile on it's face as the dancer had on his own. The two of the moving as he sung to it and music player in the background. In a near by temple a few monks heard the curious sounds and quickly ran outside, lanterns in hand, on to find a corpse propped up in the graveyard. It was freshly dug up and it's body had been made to look like someone preparing to waltz.

This was the third case of the Corpse Dancer. A mysterious person who was digging up and apparently dancing with dead bodies at night. The Metsuke had been on the lookout for this weirdo. The monks in Northern Edo had even been trying to find this person. Sadly they never could. Thus, fearing the person may be a scion, or possibly just not wanting to deal with the psychopath themselves, the metsuke put in a request to have Edo Bugei students take care of it. The two would have arrived around midnight in Nothern Edo. Around their necks would hang special badges showing that they had permission to be out of the school past the designated curfew.

A single monk would be waiting for them next to what appeared to be a freshly dug up grave.
"I'm glad you two are here. It is around this time that the Corpse Dancer appears. We think it is quite rude to the dead to let such a thing as this continue you understand?"

Eiji Arrived on Scene weapons on his sides and his hands preoccupied nursing a piping hot coffee he had purchased on the way there. Sunglasses hanging on his shirt, Dangling not far below was his Curfew necklace. After this shit was done he was gonna use it to have some fun. He was thinking of telling the Edo Bugei staff who assigned him it, "it was lost in battle" Or somthing of a similar ilk. Yeah yeah. Eiji would reply to the monk. Wait for the bastard to arrive, put him in the ground. He said as he took a drink of his coffee. Well his help for this mission looked like she would be very useful. A scion, while eccentric was still a scion. Eiji couldnt help but wonder about the usefulness of a war fan but he kept his mouth shut.

Upon arrive Rin would let out a rather undignified yawn, she had been sent on this mission to find a grave robber or whatever. Personally, she figured it was just some weirdo that the authorities should have been able to deal with but alas here she was doing others work again. And to make things worse she’d been assigned a partner for this mission which was rather unnecessary and slightly annoying since she wasn’t informed about this until now. If she had known before hand she’d at least have researched what she was working with, at this point all she could hope for was that he wasn’t unless.
“Lets just get this over with.”

As the two arrived the monk seemed to make note of their faces. He would need to inform the Bugei, per. policy, that the students had arrived. As the students gazed out at the graveyard they would see two plots full of upturned dirt. It seemed that they had either been recently disturbed and not recently burred. This would be confirmed by the fact that both graves had death dates set to four and seven years ago.
"It is only people who have died over the past few years for some reason." the monk explained, yawning a bit.

Even though it was midnight and clear outside no one had arrived yet. Perhaps they stood a ways away and would be watching the students and monk waiting for his or her chance?

The layout of the graveyard was thirty tombstones in five rows, fairly spread out and fenced. Two large oak trees shaded the graveyard well and would be easily large enough to hide behind if need be. The entire area was fenced with a large temple a few years away and steps going uphill to the temple near by. Between the twin trees and the large temple, the graveyard would be shaded most of the day. The question now was what the students would do to prepare for their expected guest.

"Hmm maybe our guy has a connection to these dead folks." Eiji said to the monk as he took a sip of his coffee. "I'm also wondering how in the hell this guy moved all of that dirt as quick as he did and without being seen." Eiji said looking all around him at anything moving. "Also keep your heads on a swivel no telling how this guy might open up on us when he finds us hanging around out here." Some of the scions he had fought in the past had attacks that could strike from hundreds of yards away, knowing that he didn't like loitering out in the open. He turned to his partner. "Names Eiji, what's your game plan if this guy shows up?" He asked Rin

As Eiji turned, however, Ren seemed to have vanished. The monk looked at Eiji curiously, as though questioning why the boy hadn't noticed.
"Um, sir. Your friend got a text message and left suddenly. I think you may have been too deep in thought." he said. If Eiji looked at his clock he would realize that his entire thought process and monologue had actually taken more time than even he had realized. It was clear that the late night and extra strong coffee wasn't the best idea. Yet here he was, with a monk as a partner and now forced to try and solve the mystery of the corpse dancer alone.

The monk moved quickly to stay behind the near by tree, gazing out around the graveyard. It was odd that the corpsedancer hadn't shown up yet, and it was a possibility they never would. However, something felt off. Someone wouldn't go to this much work just to not show up, and in his gut Eiji would feel that the person he was waiting on would show up that evening. The question was when, and what Eiji would do to get ready.

"Uh what?" Eiji said as his head swiveled around to see his partner was gone. "Oh yeah i knew that, just psyching myself up is all" He said as he turned away from the monk. Well that was embarrassing, he had been talking to no one for god knows how long. He looked at his empty coffee cup. He walked to the edge of the cemetary out of the monks view and threw the cup over the wall. He strolled back and decided to get ready.

On his back was a rather large back pack he set it down and opened it up. In it was a good amount of rope, bamboo to be whittled down and half a bottle of imported whisky, and a basic first aid kit. He got the rope out and began setting up trip wires in between headstones.
He pulled his wakizashi from its scabbard and begun making some bamboo spikes for a trap. He really didnt know where he was gonna put them, but he was gonna cross that road when he got there.

A young man walked through Northern Edo. He had long, black hair that was let lose to hang over this shoulders. He appeared to be roughly 23 years of age. His face was gaunt and his eyes a bit depressed. As he was out for his evening stroll a coffee cup suddenly hit him in the head before falling to the ground, broken. Blinking a bit the man looked. It was a wall that to the best of his knowledge contained a cemetery on the other side. Blinking a bit and looking at the coffee cup on the ground he wondered what kind of person would just fling such a thing over a wall.

Rubbing his head a bit the man, dressed in fairly common summer robes for Edo, that had been dyed a deep sea green, likely by a local artisan, entered the cemetery. Looking around he saw what appeared to be a monk and some weirdo tying ropes between the various gravestones. A bit appalled the man raised his voice.
"Excuse me, but what are you doing to these graves?!" he shrieked.
"These are perfectly lovely graves and you are defiling them! The Buddha would be ashamed!" the man protested. The monk that had come with Eiji looked around. If anyone heard the man they would be in trouble for sure. He wanted to let Eiji do what he wanted but this place was still a holy site.
[b]"Um, sir, you may not want to use the gravemarkers as some kind of trap mechanism!"
the monk said in a low voice as the young man with the long hair approached he and Eiji.

Eiji about threw thew the now spiked bamboo at the origin of the noise. After realizing it was a man Eiji put a finger to his mouth as he sushed, "You are about to meet Buudha if you dont fucking quiet down!" He said in a hushed tone as he turned to the other monk. Looking all around them he crouched down and motioned for the other two to do the same. "He would have heard that wouldnt he of?" He asked towards the monk but he was really asking himself. He looked towards the man who walked over to him. "Look man we got a wanted terrorist on his way here to dig these bodies up. Shouting like that that is only going to alert him to our location or make him flee."
Eiji said as he started standing back up looking all around them for signs of movement.
"So why dont you make yourself scarce and go home." He said to the long haired man as he took another bamboo piece out to whittle. He turned his head to the monk as he spoke. "Look ill take em down when the fight is over, this guy may be a scion remember? I need every advantage i can get"

The man who Eiji hit with his coffee cup looked shocked.
"A TERRORIST! HERE?!" he exclaimed in shock. He then looked around at the graves, one of them looking freshly dug up as he slowly started feeling confused. Scratching his head a bit he walked over to one of the graves and slowly moved his fingers around the dirt to confirm that it had been recently dug up. He crouched low though, trying his best to follow Eiji's words before looking over at the boy and the monk.

"Are they Ikko Ikki sir? What terrorists? I can't think of anyone who would defile such a pretty cemetary." he said in quicky whispers in order to not give away whatever position Eiji was trying to keep secret. Meanwhile, above them, the moon's light was starting to settle down across the cemetery. This would make it even harder for Eiji to try and hide any traps.
"It seems things are getting a bit complicated sir." the monk said as he then gave a small prayer to the Buddha that things didn't suddenly get worse.

Eiji just put his face into one of his hands after the man exclaimed once more. Well on the plus side if this corpse dancer was around he knew would know he wasnt alone. Eiji just stood up looking at the moon now illuminating the cemetary. "So much for being overcast all night." He said as he looked around for any signs of movement. He looked back to the monk who he came with. "Its always gotta complicated" He said as he reached into his pocket pulling out a pack of cigarettes and a wind proof lighter. He pulled out one as he adressed the man who waltzed into his operation. "Dunno if he is a ikko, just a guy who gets a kick out of digging up bodies and dancin' with em. Look this if he comes here tonight itll be dangerous, i would leave if i where you." He advised the man as he brought up his lighter, old and worn he flicked the wheel a few times before it caught flame, with that he lit up and took a drag before putting the lighter and cigarette pack up.

The man looked a bit sad. He looked at Eiji then around at the cemetery for a while.
"I see. That sounds really unpleasant." he said with a decidedly upset look on his face. Gazing around the cemetery the man then looked at the monk and Eiji. It seemed odd to him. Someone was talking about a corpse dancer who loved cemeteries and was just casually hanging around. Pointing directly at Eiji he said.
"How do I know you aren't lying? What if actually you are here to dance with dead bodies too?" he asked openly.

The monk that was with Eiji looked at Eiji in shock. It was a clear attempt at calling Eiji out. It was clear that Eiji was suspicious. The monk also seemed visibly upset by Eiji's smoking.
"Sir this is a cemetery. Please show respect." the monk said bluntly. Meanwhile the man who had found Eiji and the monk pointed a phone directly at Eiji.
"Well, I think I have Edo's creepy corpse dancer. I hope a rewards comes with it!" he said proudly.
