As each student picked a mask the teacher smiled.
"It was a pleasure to have you three. While I know that Noh plays can be expensive, I hope you will use the resources on the school's website, as well as a bit of extra money from your missions and classes, to attend some of them. Noh theater carries so much history and culture with it. History and culture that is quickly escaping the purview of the younger generations."
While she herself wasn't that old it was clear that having grown up in the Kono-clan she always appreciated the arts, and seeing students at the school simply turning away from the arts in favor of combat made her both startled and saddened the teacher deeply.
"A true warrior must be a paragon both on and off the battlefield." she advised the students with a strong nod as she watched them leave the class. As the students went to the stairs and down from the third floor Kono-sensei looked at her collection of masks with a smile. This now meant she would have to replace three of them, but that wouldn't be that difficult. The masks she had brought weren't part of some fancy collection after all. They simply happened to be masks that she got as a set from a fellow clansmen a while back.
"I doubt he will mind making more." she said with a kind smile as she closed up her trunk of Noh masks, packed up the papers and such she had brought for the day, and took out a piece of paper and parchment. It would be a few days but later on the students would receive had written letters thanking them for attending the class and giving each of them extra shop credits for doing so.
