Mika headed back to the club room and hung out near by to hang out and text with the senior instead. If the two were the leave the club room then it wouldn't be too hard to hear anything odd going on. In the time in took for her to return to the garage did she receive Ajibana's texts. These were about the only things that were enjoyable so far in this venture so Mika took the time to read them over and nod with a sliver of a grin.

"Justice is a common theme," she muttered and texted back her thoughts. Bu seemed to be about that, if not going about it the entirely wrong way in the reckless fashion they throw themselves on. That sort of reckless and cocksure attitude reminded of her distaste for that one boy. That tall cavalry man that was sure to rescue her if she got into trouble. If he didn't have sure a sickly view about his work then Mika wouldn't have been so repulsed by it.

Mika> 'Justice' might lead them true. Hopefully they can learn from a real example.

Have you thought of upgrading your phone, sir? Something easier of use.

Mika could have considered gifting Ajibana an updated model with a full keyboard to type in. His rhythm of entries speak of a grid button of characters and numbers together. However, the girl fully expected some stubborn grandfather approach to the question. As endearing as that would be.

Bu rolled her eyes. She'd heard that joke plenty of times, though more focused on the breeding side of things. But that's what you got when you were dealing with other biker gangs and delinquents. "My breeding habits don't factor into it." She said back. "Anyway, it isn't like you killed anyone. Just more proof that the Metsuke organization is petty and miserable." She sighed.

"KKP is no joke, The old boss, guy who ran the Rabbits before Ah took over was threatened there, he took military service instead though. Haven't seen him since." But even if he had come home during leave or something, she was here. She wouldn't know it and she could never show him how far she had come. Would he be disappointed that she hadn't led the Rabbits as long as he had? Too many unknowns, too many sad memories, hell, he could have died in the war and she wouldn't know.

"Five years isn't bad though. Ah'm here until Ah graduate and at this rate, could be a twenty year stretch." she joked. It wasn't that bad, but academics had never been her strong-suit and her test scores remained poor. "And hey, you'll probably get all your stuff back at the end of it, maybe sooner if you prove useful to them."

Ajibana, his arms fully over a large cluster of paper stacks, looked at the cellphone blatantly offended. It wasn't as though Mika was the first nor last person to suggest he get a more modern phone. It wasn't like he secretly missed when he just had a pager system he could use and people would actually say things to him in person! Yet, Ajibana still attempted texting back.

"Justice is important in every aspect of one's life 1/2"

"No. This phone is fine. I don't need a thousand buttons that just show pictures of cartoon animals 2/2"

It was clear that in his mind modern phones would only ever be used to link people to pictures of animals or anime creatures, or even anime girls and he had caught a few teens in Eastern Edo doing the previous week. He refused to every get rid of his phone. After all he had only recently been forced to get rid of his long used pager.

Meanwhile back at Edo Bugei Bu and Karu continued their overdue heart to heart. As Bu talked about her past Karu gave her a sympathetic look.
"I'm sure he would be proud of you. Especially if you get this motorcycle done." she said with a smile. It was clearly a difficult thing for Bu to talk about and the criminal turned metsuke had no intention of making it overly hard on her.

"As for the metsuke, they aren't so bad I guess. Some of them are corrupt, but some of them also work really hard. You know Ajibana? The old man stays up, sometimes all night, to make sure paperwork gets done. In Western Edo their is a metsuke named Soujuro. he has a little girl and I use to watch him sometimes. He works almost as much as Ajibana and uses all of his money on his daughter. He doesn't even use the extra money he gets to buy new clothes." as she talked of the two she seemed genuinely proud of them. In Karu's mind justice was the most important thing, and it was impossible to say that the two she mentioned didn't give their entire lives towards that belief as well.

Laughing a bit, realizing how much she was going on about them she shook her head a bit, as thought to clear out the thoughts.
"But hey, do you think I would have made a good member of your bike gang?" she said in teasing tone, sticking her tongue out a bit before laughing even more. It was clear she was expecting praise and compliment for her riding schools while also giving Bu a hard time.

"Sir, with all due respect, have you ever considered a PDA style phone? A full keyboard with a head that flips into place as a phone. An older style now and days with less applications." Mika spoke directly to the phone while texting to him the exact words. "A personal organizer."

The old man remained stubborn as ever with his archaic use of numbering his message strings. Mika did have to consider something else due to his age lining up with the early models of phones. Personal pagers lacked a ping sensor to locate others (or so that's how the salesman described it to her) so maybe he wants that sort of secrecy to it.

At a loss of just giving him th style of phone she had in mind, and expecting the Shogunate to have it promptly thrown away if Ajibana doesn't do it himself, Mika folded her arms and looked at the work garage. Just how much time those two needed? To that question did her head turn the bottle they requested. Any more time wasted would make it seem as if Mika wandered the whole school for this thing.

"But," she pondered on it a bit more with a clouded look about her. It's just a water bottle and her only use here is to watch them. The whole tour of the school was but a ruse and if they wanted to work the night away on this bike then that's up to them so long as no one left the campus grounds. So long as they kept to their mechanical business then Mika could just loom about as a departed spirit. Picking up the bottle, Mika went on to finish this small task. She quietly returned into the garage, the chatter and happy tones still filling the air between Karu and Bu, and went to place the water bottle on the makeshift chair of stacked of magazines. This seemed reasonable if Karu wanted to try searching for her and find her flavored water there. Mika then turned about and started making her quiet exit after dropping the water off.

Bu rolled her eyes. There were good people somewhere in any organization. But there was a whole lot fewer of them in the metsuke, at least as far as she was concerned. But then, she tended to spend most of her time on the opposite of them anyway. It wasn't as if she was around to see their best. Bikers like her and her gang usually were the antagonists in any confrontation so the law enforcement times seemed to resent even being there. "If you say so." She muttered. Well, at least with Karu there was a chance that the Metsuke might be forced to follow their own laws.

She saw Mika come back in and gave a small wave with her hand. It wasn't much of an acknowledgement, admittedly, but Bu was more interested in her conversation with her ghost. But with Mika back, maybe she ought to tone down any other reveals. It wasn't as if they were super close friends. "You in the Rabbits?" She replied. "AH mean, sure, you drive better than most of the people Ah know, you can really push a bike. But then, you were kind of useless in the fight against those metsuke guys." Bu tapped her lower lip with a finger.

"You could be in it under advisal. The Welsh Rabbits may turn and run, but we're not going to leave somebody behind. Well, we provide what support we can." Common practice was to split up and meet again not too far off if a raid happened or something. But when you saw a Rabbit go down, you didn't leave them to the wolves. "Riding skill isn't all we cared about. Heck, Ah'd never ridden a bike when Ah joined up. But the Boss saw Ah was a tough little shit with a few issues and thought he could make me into something a little more useful." Bu grinned.

"That was harder than teaching me to ride a bike, doncha know. But now Ah'm a million times better than Ah was, not quite an upstanding citizen but Ah can pass for one. Point is, the Rabbits take care of each other. We're like a family that isn't gonna abandon you or abuse you or any of that shit."

Ajibana looked at the messages from Mika carefully. A persona organizer? On one hand it would allow him to organize things, and he had thought about it before. However, if it was stolen someone would know all of his plans. Though, this was the same Ajibana that kept a calendar and a daily planner notebook anyway, both of which could be easily seen by anyone around him regardless. Plus if anyone took his phone, all of his contacts happened to be samurai or samurai affiliated. It wasn't as though they couldn't take care of themselves. It was an interesting thought, and with a light huff she would never know about, He texted Mika back.
"Very well, I will look into it. 1/1" it wasn't simply him blowing smoke. The man made a note in his planner book. Looking at it he wondered if it truly was outdated, to still organize everything by hand.

Meanwhile as Mika snuck in and placed the water bottle down Karu and Bu continued their conversation. As Bu said how useless Karu was in the fight with the metsuke she huffed a bit. She wanted to tell Bu off and inform her of her powers but sadly she couldn't right now. Though as Bu talked about the rabbits and how great her biker gang was Karu nodded as though she was paying full attention while slightly glancing around. She found the drink she had asked for but sadly couldn't seem to find Mikazuki. Apparently the girl was missing.
"Hey, we are missing that girl, Mikazuki." she pointed out as she went and grabbed the drink, opening it and taking a sip.
"Shouldn't we find her? She was so quiet I completely forgot she was here." Karu said honestly.

Mika pressed her back against the door of the garage and stared off at the far fence line of the campus. By now would Karu may have gotten her water and by now would their cycle junkie talks carry on. In the off chance Bu wanted to go deviate to other things wasn’t her concern. Bu saw the most of interest with the rider and kept to connect with them more or whatever. Her behavior this morning of that rushing fluster seemed to mull out to this level of conversation. “That Karu may tolerate th more if they view eachother as fellow reckless criminals,” she shrugged and left the door to pace away to have a seat where the breeze felt easy.

Finding a bench facing the garage and in the open walkway of the club and the main building, Mika sat herself down and rested back against the rest to let the breeze pass by and make her scarf move with it. The message from Ajibana made her smile once more to possibly get him something useful for his hard work and dedication but that was another time. Maybe for grandparents day or a memorial for the service men. Having that on her mind eased the personal grudges against Bu. Those two can vent out st eachother and still walk away from it without a hand on weapons.

“If lucky, the tour might end with just thaf,” she muttered and sat up straight again to resume her watch.

Bu looked around, she hadn't noticed Mika wandering off again. But then Mika wasn't exactly the most talkative girl from her interactions in the past. Bit of a pride thing there, the pot thought of the kettle. "You're right. Took her awhile to get the water. Ah wonder if she ran into some of her other friends." Probably not the ones that she had been with at the club. Those people seemed like jerks. "She might have gone out to talk with them more."

Bu took her papers and straightened them up quickly. "We probably shouldn't bail on her though. She doesn't like feeling used." She said, basing that on their interactions back at the club. And Bu didn't want to seem like she was using Mika. It already seemed a bit of that way as it had been Mika who set the whole meeting up for them. "Alright," she said as she put her schematics and ordering sheets away, "I'm set here. Let's go find Mika."

It wasn't as if there was much they needed here at the garage. Bu had just wanted advice, she didn't have the actual bike to show off yet. Yet being key there. Hopefully they'd get together again when the bike arrived and she could really show off. Plus Mika had wanted to show off more of the school and it wouldn't be great to disappoint her. Karu might even like it.

"You're a scion, but unregistered or something they said. Did you go to this school?" She asked as they walked out into the sun. Bu looked around, shielding her eyes from the sun with her hand. "Oh, there she is. By the bench." She waved at Mika.

As Bu agreed to go look for Miak the former ghost rider of Edo nodded. Though the question hung in the air of if the women had attended Edo Bugei. As they left the garage and saw Mika in the distance, Karu shook her head a bit.
"Edo Bugei was always this weird school in Edo. I never attended it. As far as the government was concerned I was just a normal citizen." Bu, being a member of the Bugei student body, would quickly realize just how little sense that story made. The school was often sent after rogue scions, and new scions seemed to be dragged to the school almost immediately after awakening.

Seeing Mika in the distance, Karu waved to the girl. She did looked fairly unamused and Karu, holding the drink Mika had brought her, couldn't help but feel bad.
"I hope we didn't upset her." True Mika was asked to guard her, but Karu hardly thought of Mika as a bad person. After all Ajibana seemed to think highly of her. Likely she didn't know though. It wasn't as though Ajibana often directly told people what he thought of her. Even Karu didn't know what Ajibana often thought of herself.

"MS. HONDA WE'RE SORRY FOR IGNORING YOU!" she yelled while wavering her arm a bit. She wanted to make sure Mika noticed them. After ignoring her and seeming rude the last thing she wanted to do at this point was to go and sneak up on her.

A dead groan left her at the sudden violation of noise. She didn’t even want to move but duty required it. Her head tilted forward like questioning cat to watching the two approach her bench. Not only that but both of them waving!? What sort of heat stroke was this? It felt too early for them to finish about the bike and mechanical aspects. Neither of them looked to be readying a depature which left the day continuing. Knowing what may come of this, an extended tour, she got up and straightened her clothes.

“Business taken care of?” She asked them both, requiring to address the two of them. Karu seemed oddly in a good mood which made Mika skeptical of what took place. The loud apology didn’t help either if they were mocking her for hiding out here at all. Once they said their pieces on whatever they wanted to share, Mika was half listening anyway, she pretended to now and carry with the tour.

“From here, we can see the library, main school building, the martial arts of various schools and the gym. The ground also possess a green house toward the back of the school. The first floor has armors on display and the student store and such if this interests you,” she explained loosely on what were on the grounds.

Bu stopped short. "Yeah, Ah guess." There hadn't really been business to start with. It was just a casual request for advice. "We were just doing some chatting about bike stuff. Nothing super important. Didn't want you to feel left out, doncha know." But Mika didn't seem to be too bothered or pleased about this and just decided to continue the school tour from before. Speaking of, if Karu didn't go to school here, she must have attended some casual high school in some village somewhere. Assuming she'd even gotten any schooling.

"So if you didn't go to school here, where did you grow up?" Bu was less curious about the scion artifact that Karu had bonded with. She'd made no connection to any powers and biking through sheer thick-skulled ignorance. As for the school's collection of new scions, Bu assumed that more than that just fell through the cracks. After all, authority folks were both corrupt and inept in her mind. The collection of rogue scions and the strength of the crazy rebel cult did little to dissuade her from this opinion.

"The fighting grounds are the best, if you can find an opponent. But they don't often let us really show off what we can do with our artifacts." She added to Mika's tour spiel. "Of course, Ah've started doing some special stuff, all extra curricular for a few girls that wanted a little extra training. It's not often you get somebody tough as me that you can really go to town on, let loose. Ah'm like a super cool punching bag." She said proudly, too proudly considering what she'd actually said.

As Mika asked about Karu and Bu's chat Karu shrugged a bit while smiling.
"It was alright. It is nice to know that I have things in common with a few people around here. Thank you for the drink by the way, I'm sorry if you felt ignored. I didn't even hear you come back." she said, looking slightly upset with herself. She did wish she had understood Mika better though.

Meanwhile as Mika and Bu told her about the school Karu looked around. It really was a pretty school. In a lot of ways she wish she had gone here instead of the educational she actually received. Unfortunately it wasn't as though she could just turn around and change that now. She was a bit beyond schooling age, and was currently a semi-professional metsuke. Sure it was by force, and if she said no she would face execution but hey, that was how things where right now.

"The entire school sounds nice." she told them both, slowly turning to look at everything.
"The armors on the first floor are from famous samurai right? I would love to see some of them. I'm sure the inside of the school is as nice as the outside." she looked at Mika and nodded a bit. She was quite curious to see it. Though she quickly realize she hadn't answered Bu's question.
"Well, I kind of didn't." she said plainly, giving a bit of a shrug. Her life was more chaotic than she felt like explaining to the two at the moment. She also still didn't know them extremely well.
"Growing up we moved around a lot. Most of my education came from my family."

Mika started into her phone as Bu just made herself as an abusive punching bag. A few free shots with a knife would be fine without some cheap gimmick but that's neither here nor there. It seems as though Karu didn't pay much heed either as the two displayed their talk on cycles as if out of pity to make it simple for someone not so enthusiastic over these mechanics horses. "Didn't want to interrupt your moment," she spoke and headed for the first floor building. She was being honest that she wasn't planning on being around their little time together Bu wanted so the apologies felt ridiculous. Mika believed no one has any real business to visit her and this included the rider and the workaholic Ajibana despite the respectful figure of authority he is.

"The armors are likely from the Hosokawa family line. We'll read some of the name plates to be sure." Mika assumed that most of the armors did belong to the Principal's family as them being the founders of the school. The armors tend to look similar and heavy anyway so she never really gave them much more than a glancing look at the face masks. Their topic changed to Karu as Mika opened the doors to the ground floor and headed in.

"So where were you originally from?" Mika asked as it felt like the most logical thing. Karu is obviously a Scion gone rouge so it's something of an issue to avoid ending up in Bugei at all. The poster for the Ghost Rider may have been as long as Karu has been the rider. "If that isn't suitable then where do you like most in all the temporary stays you have done?"

Inside the school remained clean and partly barren thanks to the weekend and less classes in session. A few students walked the halls but nothing too largely out of the ordinary. The armors can be seen in their display stands lined neatly with lights shining on the preserved artifacts with name plates hanging equally polished beneath them.

Didn't go to school, well, on some level, Bu envied Karu. She'd not had a great time at school and then she'd gotten caught up in potential fame and stardom and school had turned into a weird private tutor thing with her bandmates. Then, after that had gone sour, she'd returned to the classic school now as a far less studious and more rebellious kid. Of the three variations, she'd enjoyed none of them, and this education wasn't exactly thrilling her either. Maybe if there was more time for shop class or freestyle combat, she'd get something out of it.

Bu listened dutifully about the armor. But then, she'd already seen it many times during her time at the school. For Karu, this was the first time and she sounded interested. Bu had thought it was neat the first time she saw it too. She wondered if any of these would be artifacts too, behind their glass exteriors. But that was a question she'd probably never know the answer to, or the answer was no. Both of those answers were dull so she moved on with her life.

However, where Karu came from was interesting. Maybe that could lead into why she'd ended up going full on rebel vigilante taking down the corrupt Metsuke. That would certainly be exciting, or dramatic, or even both. Noble rebellions tended to be Bu's favorite sort of story since she liked to consider herself one as well.

As they entered the main school building Karu whistled a bit. The inside of the school building looked extremely expensive and beautiful. It was well decorated and had various glass cases with old samurai armor. In her head she imagined being a first year student at Edo Bugei.

Looking around Mika asked Karu about her childhood. As she was currently crouched looking at a piece of armor she turned to Mika.
"I lived mostly in Edo. We just moved from one part of Eastern Edo's slums to another. My family wasn't Yakuza connected, but we didn't have any money, so we drifted from one gang controlled neighborhood to another." her faced looked openly upset. She really hated her childhood and her parent's constant struggled just for food.
"I think my favorite place was the apartment you guys saw previously. I use to live in it before it became a complete slum and drug dinn. It was a pretty crappy apartment and I slept on the couch due to lack of living space, but it wasn't bad. My parents made due." the pain on her face didn't go away but she still tried to smile as best she could as she stood up.

"I thought about entering the Bugei a few times, about just turning myself over to Edo's police, but I couldn't. The bugei doesn't pay as well as as holding on to other people's business." she said with a dark grinn.
"Fun fact about as mall neighborhood, you know everyone. Every corrupt metsuke that comes around looking for drugs, every politician that likes women, and men. All of that fun stuff." she looked at Bu, expecting the gangster girl to be proud of Karu's choice in profession.
"At the end of the day, my parents blackmailed people, got money for keeping secrets, and we ate really well for a few days. Eventually though politicians move out of office, metsuke get promoted or move away, and one corrupt metsuke decides that he doesn't really like getting blackmailed, and remembers he has Yakuza friends who owe him one. Then you end up parentless." breathing in deep and sighing a few times she shrugged.

"Welp, that's the most I've ever talked with someone. That is the story of Mikaru." she said proudly, laughing a bit.
