The new adjustments to working as a somewhat student aid had small ups and downs. The biggest one was the distance from the other classes. On the third floor of the main school building was were the mixed third and elite years were held in their lecture halls for the morning portion of their continued studies but the afternoon was very much divided. Students remained students but depending on the arrangements, different Elite years surveyed over whichever their prime track and abilities took them be it assisting in combat training or excelling individual clubs they favored. In that respect where most Elite years were given an assistant teacher rank and file, however, not all were put out on special assignments. Special may not be the correct word or viewpoint of this but rather specifically requested to be on missions to either guide, support, or perform their own work as asked by Edo Bugei. A level of productivity was needed when often times it was the students themselves who became that proactive.
Having all this in mind was Yuubae Suishoku, a student nearing the end of their third year within the school but became an Elite year following the the Great Kanto earthquake, left her assigned lecture hall on the third floor to hang out by the windows a bit while the lunch rush started to kick in. "Barely a C mark on the essay paper," she sighed and fanned herself with her text book with a paper sticking out marked up with red ink. "I should have picked a better topic than 'Chukogu Fish Wars'," the burnette groaned before pausing to look the paper over. It recounted much of what she experienced with Roshi during a trip. Due to being written from a personal perspective, the paper lacked actual facts and current data. "Maybe the title was just bad." That may have played a factor in this too after meeting both the page requirement and deadline.
Having finished that trial and error, the girl moved on from her poor paper to take out a magazine to over view something she hadn't done in a long while. Thanks to the recent Chinese students coming to Bugei and Roshi's fireworks display did her eyes fill with new found inspiration to go back to a loose hobby thanks to the ceremony club. "What's in season to use," she muttered gently while going through an array of flowers to fit a currently tight budget for a floral decoration in the staff office while Izuki-senpai was away.
Ikebana served to her as a relaxing tool like archery. Skill could be acquired in these fields but they were really methods to hide behind. Suishoku hide her eyes subconsciously in the magazine as she left the windows to return to the office of Izuki-senpai's to check on what teacher and student files were left for his desk today. No one has asked her to lead missions or perform a lecture so far, and she'd gladly like to keep it that way, but it's hard to not feel the pressurized air around the third floor sections of the school. Unlike the endurance and stress training under the school's drill instructors the third floor was decorated as a different world. The inner decorations of a castle that got dropped on top of what could have been a normal two story school. In her search for flowers in this session did she venture back to the desk work on the teacher's side of the third floor by muscle memory than visual guidance.
